Sculpture for Sculptors - 2010
After losing part of a hand in a metal grinder, I became more acutely aware of how many sculptor (and carpenter) friends had modified hands, and how critically important our bodies are as tools for our work. This work is made from microcrystalline wax, flame and time.
The Legislators - 2005
The Legislators is a bipartisan interactive durational sculpture.
The work consists of a mixed media sculpture with a table in the shape of the contiguous United States built with salvaged wood, wind-up chattering teeth, and red, white and blue t-shirts that each list the primary lobbying groups in the U.S. Congress by annual expenditure.

Each participant becomes a lobbyist engaging with his or her legislator.
Even lobbyists have their own lobbyists in Congress.
